Accessories of Symbolisms

In this collection, I try to figure out my relationship to disappearance – dying. Any elapsed time is dying. Crying is dying, designing is dying, and loving is dying. A farewell to nowness happens at every moment.

At the end of the designing process of the collection “Funnier Road” (Funeral), I celebrate my death. I will let the users interpret my work and let the people interpret me.

It Never Rains

Lizard Inspired Garments

In memory of my pet lizard who encouraged me for 10 years since I was 10.

communication between absolutely different indiduals, a lesson about beings

tells the story of my lizard and me initially having opposite reactions to rainy weather but eventually coming to a mutual understanding by the time we were deeply connected – it’s a non-utility feeling; it’s love.

“It Never Rains” stands for she never knew what raining is because she’s a lizard from the desert, and she always stays in the cage with sand and a sun-like lamp. That’s her way and I appreciate it.
